Wall painting at Redan in Liepaja city in Latvia

In June 2022, I took part as an artist in the Karosta Festival. The festival took place in the Latvian city of Liepaja. The festival lasted seven days. In the first days, we worked on our pieces with other artists. The last two days, we presented our works to festival visitors.

I had already sketched a sketch on my iPad. For that, I used the digital painting tool Procreate. The sketch was about animals that were in the restaurant. At that time, I was still influenced by COVID-19. When I applied for the festival, I thought that work would be a good theme for the festival.
